A development of a brownfield site located 5 mins walk of Rickmansworth. The building has been designed to meet the highest levels of renewable technology and also incorporates large vertical gardens across the building facades. The roof is covered in sedum and wildflower to promote biodiversity and all the parking has been located under the building to further reduce the impact to the Greenbelt. All flats will have integrated heating systems providing the occupiers with low energy bills. This development also proposes to open up the River Chess to the Public through a partnership with the charity who owns the land completing the public access along this length of the river Chess.
